The Dimensions of Leadership
Profile
is a 20-page assessment that helps people explore
their leadership style, primary focus and response as a leader. The instrument assesses a
person across 12 dimensions (styles) of leadership which fall
into four broader categories that describe the
leader's primary focus of attention.
Focus on Analysis: someone who recognizes the issues, sees
the possibilities, scopes out alternatives, and guides the
group toward decisons about what needs to be
done. The leadership styles/dimensions assessed include:

someone intent on seeing things get done, who finds a way to

Focus on Interaction:
someone who encourages others to participate, who motivates
and rewards member contributions by listening to and using

Serving Others -- helping others
succeed; meeting
needs
Focus on Character: someone
who reminds members of the mission and values, remains
committed, and tries to prevent self interest or political
concerns from undermining the team's effectiveness. The leadership
styles/dimensions assessed include:
