Team Dimensions Profile

As organizations strive for efficiency, teams are expected to innovate, problem solve, and execute -- on a dime.  Understanding individual approaches to group processes is vital to creating high-performance teams. 

The Team Dimensions Profile helps individuals work from their strengths by identifying their most natural team role: Creator, Advancer, Refiner, Executor, or Flexer.  Using the Team Dimensions model, members understand the importance of each role, thereby increasing their appreciation of everyone's contribution. 

The Team Dimensions Profile can be used as a standalone assessment, integrated into an existing program, or used with the Team Innovation training included with the Facilitator's Kit.

The Team Dimensions Profile is a 16-page assessment instrument that helps individuals and teams identify their unique approaches and strenghts to innovation and teamwork.  The assessment profile and its unique Z-Process is a proven way to clarify roles, simplify processes and maximize individual contributions for total team results.

Discover the Right Roles for the Right People -- The Team Dimensions Profile identifies the following five team roles:

  • Creators generate new ideas and fresh concepts.
  • Advancers expand on new ideas and carry them forward
  • Refiners analyze ideas for flaws or revise projects systematically.
  • Executors deliver concrete results and seek successful implementation
  • Flexers have an equal preference for most or all of the roles and can often adapt their styles to fit the team's needs.

The Team Dimensions Profile Group Report  helps individuals build on their strengths to build a more productive and satisfying team environment.  In addition to providing a snapshot of team members' roles, the group report also provides the Team Dimensions Map showing the role distribution of team members, a graphic summary of the group's priorities, a discussion of group strengths and limitations.
