The Discovering Diversity
Facilitator's Kit is built around the
"Building Bridges to Understanding" seminar. Through completion of a diversity
self-assessment instrument, employees examine their own
viewpoints on workplace diversity in four key areas --
knowledge, understanding, acceptance, and
behavior -- targeting the following learning outcomes:
Increased insight into one's own
attitudes and opinions about diversity, and how our behavior
may affect others
Greater appreciation of diversity within
the workplace and how culture influences work
behavior
Development of a common language and open
dialogue to discuss diversity
Stronger partnerships and team
work built from a climate of sensitivity and

Facilitator's Kit includes a trainer manual with
multiple scripts for conducting a half or full day
session, powerpoint slides, reproducible handouts, and two paper-based Discovering Diversity
Profiles.
